This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is finished in red over black vinyl and is powered by a 428ci Cobra Jet Ram-Air V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15? Magnum 500-style wheels, a shaker hood scoop, a rear decklid spoiler, LED headlights, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, an AM radio, and a heater. The current owner acquired the car in 2021, and subsequent maintenance included the replacement of the tires, brake booster, rear wheel cylinders, fuel filters, distributor, and turn signal switch. This Mach 1 is now offered on dealer consignment with recent service records, a Deluxe Marti report, and a clean California title.

The car left the factory finished in Candyapple Red and was refinished under previous ownership. Features include a Mach 1 grille, Mach 1 graphics, a shaker hood scoop, and a rear decklid spoiler. Paint protection film was applied to the front clip in December 2021, and LED headlights were installed in April 2023.

The 15? Magnum 500-style wheels were mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires in 2021. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the booster and rear wheel cylinders were replaced in October 2021. Power steering was added in May 2021, and the steering gearbox and power steering control valve are noted to have play.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Interior appointments include a fold-down rear seat, an AM radio, lap belts, a heater, an analog clock, Mach 1-logo floor mats, a black-padded dashboard, and woodgrain trim on the dash and door panels. The turn signal switch was replaced in 2021.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 4k miles, approximately 3k miles of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 428ci Cobra Jet Ram-Air V8 was factory rated at 335 horsepower and is said to have been rebuilt under previous ownership. The fuel filters and the distributor were replaced in 2022. A June 2022 service record notes ticking sounds and metal debris in the engine oil.

A three-speed automatic transmission was fitted in place of the factory four-speed manual. The car is equipped with a Traction-Lok differential with 3.50:1 gears. An April 2023 service record notes dirty rear differential fluid and play in the rear end.

The Deluxe Marti Report shows initial delivery to R E Barber Ford of Ventura, California, and lists factory equipment and options.

There is currently a loan on the car, and the owner’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the next owner.
